Nest Designs was called in to help the homeowner’s select the finish materials and paint color for their hall bathroom. The use of the tile all the way to ceiling in the shower area makes this space feel bigger. The dark vanity looks great against the warm tones in the travertine tile. The oil rubbed bronze finish on the vanity light ties the fixture with the vanity. Sherwin Williams Oyster Bay is the wall color. Photo by Bealer Photographic Arts.

The same house that is pictured above, but this image is of the master bathroom. I worked with a local contractor to design the floor-plan, design the vanity and select the tile, counter-top, light fixtures, and paint color. South Park Porch

The only black and white image you will find on my website. I re-vamped my own back porch last year and am tickled with the final product. I used shakes (shingles) to side the interior walls and kept the exposed beams on the ceiling. The addition of a space heater in the cooler months allows me to ‘winter’ all of my outdoor plants. ECO Rehabarama

Nest Designs was hired by a local contractor to design the floor plan for the ECO Rehabarama home they were rehabbing. My design was based on maximizing floor space and creating a distinct look for the interior of the house. Using a barn door to divide two adjacent spaces made perfect sense. No door swing = more floor space. The bright red door also created a dramatic backdrop for the dining area. The paint color is Sherwin Williams SW7590 Red Obsession. Church Lobby

Nest Designs was contacted by a client who was moving his church into a new location. The new space was very large and very cold. The challenge was to give the space some personality, make it feel warm and inviting and do everything on a small budget. Spring Valley Kitchen Remodel

There were some major changes in this kitchen renovation. The first thing Nest Designs created was a u-shaped kitchen floor-plan that incorporated a breakfast bar/peninsula with two different heights for the counter-tops. The homeowner’s requested that their existing flooring be incorporated into the new design and that is the only part of the old kitchen that remains.

The soapstone counter-tops really compliment the custom cherry cabinetry. Nest Designs selected gorgeous slate tile for the back-splash. All new stainless steel appliances, a contemporary island hood and great lighting fixtures (selected by the homeowner’s) really add to the transformation of this kitchen.
